Accessibility Features

PanTreats includes several accessibility features that you can turn on or off based on your needs.

These settings are saved only on this device, so each student can choose what works best for them.

Reading & Navigation
  • Read PanTreats Aloud
    Reads the current page aloud using your device's built-in voice.
    How to use: Click Read to begin or Stop to end narration.
  • Choose Reading Voice
    Choose the voice that is easiest for you to understand.
    How to use: Select a voice from the drop-down before using the PanTreats Reader.
  • PanTreats Reading Speed
    Adjust how quickly or slowly pages are read aloud.
    How to use: Move the slider left for slower speech or right for faster speech.
  • Accessibility Toolbar
    Displays a floating accessibility button on every page for quick access to reading tools.
    How to use: Turn the switch on to display the toolbar throughout the website.
  • Keyboard Navigation
    Makes the currently selected link, button, or form field easier to see while navigating with the keyboard.
    How to use: Enable this option and use the Tab key to move around the website.
Display & Visual Options
  • Larger Text
    Increases text size throughout PanTreats for easier reading.
    How to use: Turn the switch on to enlarge text across the website.
  • High Contrast
    Improves visibility by increasing the contrast between text and backgrounds.
    How to use: Enable the switch for a higher contrast display.
  • Color Blind Options
    Adjusts website colors to better support different types of color blindness.
    How to use: Select the color mode that works best for you from the drop-down.
  • Reduce Motion
    Reduces animations and transitions that may be distracting or uncomfortable.
    How to use: Turn the switch on to minimize motion throughout the website.
  • Dyslexia-Friendly Font
    Uses a simpler font with improved spacing to make reading more comfortable.
    How to use: Enable the switch to apply the alternate font across PanTreats.
  • Larger Buttons
    Makes buttons and controls easier to see and click, especially on touch devices.
    How to use: Turn the switch on to enlarge buttons and interactive controls.
